「Sea to Sea」/ Working Title
"Sea to Sea" is my ongoing photographic project. I am traveling along both the European and Asian shores of Istanbul’s Bosphorus Strait, moving from the Black Sea in the north down to the Sea of Marmara in the south. Armed with a 4x5 camera and color film, my goal is to capture the enduring sense of hüzün—the collective melancholy—that defines this city.
